"Don't Let Satan Fool You Into Thinking That Poverty Is Godly Or Holy" - Reno Omokri Cautions All And Sundry

 The popular saying that says cleanliness is next to Godliness holds water when you consider how God commanded us to be pure in heart and worship him in truth and spirit. On the contrary, the assertion that relates Poverty to Godliness is never palatable, many bible scholars have different school of thought when it come to the poor inheriting the kingdom of God.


With reference to the above hypothesis, Social media influencer, Reno Omokri took to his twitter handle to buttress the fact being poor is not a yardstick to make heaven unless you are righteous. His statement reads :" Lazarus did not go to heaven because he was poor, he went to heaven because he was righteous, the rich man did not Go to hell because he was rich, he went to hell because he was wicked, don't let Satan Fool you into thinking that poverty is Godly".See his tweet below,


Regarding his above nuggets of wisdom, you will agree with me that Reno hit the nail on the head. Most Contemporary Christian are having the notion that the poor will inherit the Kingdom of God. They seem to have misconstrued one of the nine beatitudes of Jesus that says blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the Kingdom of heaven. Reno Omokri is letting us know that the bible didn't say the poor must inherit heaven at the last day, but rather the righteous ones.

When a rich and righteous man dies, his soul will definitely go to heaven, but when a rich and wicked (sinful) man dies, his soul goes to hell. The Same Is applicable to the poor, the poor and righteous man goes to heaven when ever he dies, while the poor and wicked man goes to hell after God's final Judgement he dies.

By and large, no one should be deceived with dogmatic statements and self-righteousness observed in Christendom; the bible have already made us understand that we all are not ignorant of the device of the wicked 2 Corinthians 2:11. Those that fears God, obeys his command and do his wills are the only candidates of heaven, therefore let all and sundry get wisdom.
